We have some good news and some bad news for you today. Let’s get the bad news out the way first, shall we? Sadly, our Bath Bus Tours are no longer available. Despite our best efforts to convince them to leave their hometown and spend their days touring the streets of Bath, capturing the beauty of our town’s world heritage, we have lost this battle. They were too homesick. You know, being true Londoners, they missed their family and the hustle and bustle of the big city! Also, they are a little too vintage to make the journey up and down the M4 on a regular basis. (But we promise we did try!). So it’s with tears in our eyes, sadness in our hearts, and handkerchiefs in hand, that we’ve had to wave goodbye to our classic Routemasters as they drove off into the sunset and back to their beloved London. But that doesn’t mean high tea in Bath (with a French twist) is a thing of the past! So here’s the good news – B Bakery still offers plenty of high tea Bath experiences.

What’s afternoon tea at the Brigit’s Bakery like?
So what can you expect when you come and sit down for a full afternoon tea here at the Brigit’s Bakery in Bath? Of course, we serve traditional afternoon tea filled with both sweet and savoury treats freshly prepared on-site by our amazing French pastry chefs. Here at B Bakery, we’ve taken the quintessentially English tradition of the afternoon tea experience and added our own French touches. And just to give you an idea, these are some of the mouthwatering treats you’ll be able to enjoy:
- Cucumber and mint finger sandwiches.
- Salmon rainbow brioche and Italian pretzels.
- Handmade sweet treats, like mini cupcakes and signature verrines.
And what about drinks? We serve loose leaf teas from Betjeman and Barton in our full-of-personality mismatched china cups. And if you’re celebrating a special occasion, you can always add a glass of champagne!
Would you rather have breakfast or lunch?
Well, if you ask us, we’ll say any time is good for afternoon tea. But if you’re after something a little different, you should know we also serve international breakfasts in the morning and have light lunch options available (think quiches and sandwiches). Oh, and did we mention that we like to add a French touch to our food? So if you’re popping in for a quick coffee or dessert, you can be sure you’ll find a daily selection of crêpes and handmade cakes ready for you. Just come and see us at 17, Argyle Street between 10 am and 7 pm, daily – we open earlier and close later (9 am – 8 pm) between Wednesday and Saturday.

Head over to London for an Afternoon Tea Bus Tour
So our vintage Routemaster buses are no longer blessing the streets of Bath with their beautiful vintage feel. They used to turn heads, you know? And we are a little sad about that. We will definitely miss them. But not all is lost because our London-based buses still run over six tours a day in London. We’re only a couple of hours’ drive away after all. So why not take the opportunity to have a day trip to London and experience our Afternoon Tea Bus London tour instead? Jump on a train to Victoria and then hop on-board a B Bakery Afternoon Tea Bus Tour from Victoria Coach Station, and we’ll take care of you. We’ll serve our delicious Brigit’s Bakery’s afternoon tea and entertain you while you put your feet up and make a day of it. Who wouldn’t want to be treated like royalty in London?
Our bus tours are very popular, so book early to avoid disappointment.
So, will you be joining us for high tea in Bath? Or in London?
